Gilles Fabre was born in France but resides in Ireland where he
has worked as a teacher and translator before working in sports
administration. His haiku have been published in English, French
and Japanese in various journals (Blithe Spirit, Presence, Haiku
Spirit, Mushimegane) and anthologies (Anthologie internationale
du haïku, Anthologie du haïku en France, The New Haiku,
World Haiku Anthology 1). He is the editor of the bilingual
Haiku Spirit site (www.haikuspirit.org).
His first collection of haiku (Because of a Seagull) is
to be published in autumn 2005. |
