Haiku and senryu in Italian by Giorgio Gazzolo, Rome, Italy
Translation: author
the setting sun
caresses an old mirror:
rainbows everywhere
sole al tramonto
sfiora l’antico specchio:
arcobaleni
* * *
summer evening –
the large opened mirror
swings the room
sera d’estate -
il grande specchio aperto
muove la stanza
* * *
young man in the sun –
a diamond shine
on the zircon
giovane al sole -
ha luce diamantina
lo zircone
* * *
feigning calm
in front of servings
the boarders
fingono calma
di fronte alle portate
i pensionanti
* * *
in the old temple
it could be I prayed
without knowing
nel vecchio tempio
potrei aver pregato
senza saperlo
