Seán MacMathúna writes in Irish and
English. His collection of stories in English, "The Atheist"
was nominated by the Arts Council for the European Prize. "Ding"
and "Banana" his collections in Irish, have appeared on
many university courses. His play the "Winter Thief" was
produced by the Abbey Theatre, Ireland's National Theatre. His haiku
[both Irish and English] have appeared in many international publications.
