Translation: author
cattle fair
a beetle-browed lady
pacing over the mud
stočni sajam
namrštena damica
šljapka po blatu
* * *
after the fair
left behind at the inn
mud under the table
nakon sajma
u krčmi ostavili
blato pod stolom
* * *
village market day
a tiny woman sitting
among the baskets
seoski sajam
tiha ženica sjedi
među košarama
* * *
rainy cattle fair
muddy boots and puddles
pass each other by
na kiši sajma
blatne čizme i lokve
se mimoilaze
