Djurdja Vukelić Rožić, an economist, was born
in 1956. She lives in Ivanić Grad, Croatia. She writes and
translates haiku and is Editor in chief of the bilingual magazine
Haiku, issued by the Association of Croatian Haiku Poets,
Zagreb, since Spring 2003. Her haiku have been published in magazines
and periodicals in Croatia and abroad, and received several Awards
and Commendments in Japan and Croatia. Besides haiku she publishes
humoresques, writes poetry and does some composing.
