Wirth, born on 28th October 1940 in Neuss, Germany.
Living partly
at Viersen, Lower Rhine District, and in Burg, a small village of
winegrowers on the river Moselle.
Studies of modern languages (English, French, Spanish).
Teaching profession at grammar schools, adult education centres,
and for 15 years at the university of Düsseldorf (linguistics
and literary translation).
Numerous publications of lyric poetry, haiku/senryu, and essays
in a variety of national and international anthologies and journals.
Active member of several haiku societies in Japan, Great Britain,
the USA, France, and the Netherlands/Flanders (Belgium), and further
forums on the Internet (Spanish, German).
