Born in France, Gilles Fabre has been based in Dublin, Ireland, for a number of years. He is the editor of the bilingual (French and English) site Haiku Spirit and a member of Haiku Ireland. His first collection of haiku, Because of a Seagull, was published in 2005. His haiku and essays have been published in a number of international journals and anthologies in English, French and Japanese.
