Alenka is a retired jurist who lives in Ljubljana, Slovenia. She has been writing haiku for many years, and has been president of the Haiku Club of Slovenia and editor of its journal Letni casi (Seasons). Her work has been featured worldwide, and she has published and edited several haiku books. Alenka has won awards in haiku contests in Slovenia, Croatia and Japan.
